Dr. Kari Miller is an educational therapist and founder of Miller Educational Excellence, an educational therapy center in Los Angeles.

Miller Educational Excellence is committed to moving students with complicated learning needs to higher plateaus of success.

We specialize in providing students from Kindergarten through adult (college and post-college students) with the learning support they need to move beyond their academic roadblocks.

As educational therapists, we dedicate ourselves to helping students in the following areas:

Literacy—reading, writing, essays, handwriting

Mathematics—procedures, arithmetic facts, conceptual understanding, problem solving

Test prep—classroom tests, standardized tests such as SAT, ACT, ISEE, and more

Study skills—such as organization, planning, attention, persistence and decision-making

Control of negative emotions–such as self-doubt, frustration, anxiety and learned helplessness

Foundational learning abilities—such as auditory and visual processing, memory, concentration and attention to details
